Driving Awareness

| When
a shopping mall sponsored a "drunken driving
prevention week," featuring displays from area
organizations, police departments and rescue units,
a local drunken driving awareness group also
participated. The group wanted to provide the public
with some sort of tangible reminder about the
seriousness of drunken driving. To emphasize its
message, the group distributed a clear pen, whose
object was to keep a little pellet between two small
lines nearly impossible for a person who is drunk.
Although the pen was entertaining, the group's
imprint suggested that drunken driving is no
laughing matter. |
